     We offer the following freeze and ice technologies.

①  Melting-point-controlled Ice Chips   

      Our ice machine produces special ice chips that maintain fixed temperatures below 0°C for long periods of time. 

      As a practical example, the ice chips are produced close to the freezing point temperatures (FPTs) of fresh fishes and shellfishes (FFSs), are resistant to melting and can be maintained in soft solid states. FPTs kill bacterias and inhibit bacteria growths, prevent protein and lipid denaturation by enzymes and oxidation, and inhibit cell damage caused by freezing in perishable products such as FFSs. FPT ice chips offer the best means of preserving the freshness of FFSs and transporting them over long distances, such as overseas.

② High-Maneuverability Freeze Concentration Equipment

       Freeze concentration produces the highest quality concentrates compared to other concentration methods, such as evaporation and membrane-based methods. 

      Our new freeze concentration equipment offers advantages such as flexible operation and the ability to process large volumes of solution. 

     The new equipment produces magnesium-rich, mineral-balanced, natural solutions from deep sea waters for use in a variety applications, including culinary applications, processed foods and functional beverages. The magnesium (Mg) mineral is an important nutrient for immunity against pathogens such as viruses. Furthermore, these natural solutions can be used to create novel salts for raw culinary applications such as salads, sushi, sashimi, and tempura.

③  A New Separation Technology with Ice Filter ( Fusible Filter )

     This technology employs centrifugal filtration using fusible materials, such as ice crystals, to separate emulsions. Its application removes stable surfactants (e.g., proteins) from oil droplets in emulsions (e.g., fish livers) and coalesces the oil droplets. Coalesced oils in the filter are separated by melting the filter.

In addition, this technology has the potential to disrupt the membranes of microalgae and separate oil and solution from the microalgae.
